Terra means Mother Earth and reflects the belief that skin and soil are deeply connected.

I'm Ryley ~ wife, mother and holistic skincare alchemist, certified in botanical skincare formulation. My journey with holistic wellness and skincare started in 2016. I was postpartum with my daughter and found aromatherapy when to be helpful when I was struggling with postpartum anxiety. After paying closer attention to what I was putting on my skin and how my body responded, I realized how deeply connected our health is to the natural world around us. Herbs, oils and simple rituals became a part of my everyday life.

Long before Terra officially existed, I was creating products for myself, family and friends and sharing small batches with anyone who was interested. Creating became my outlet as a stay at home mom, a way to process what I was learning about holistic wellness. Making skincare always felt like a natural extension of nurturing those around me.

In 2023, Shop Terra Rituals was born. Today, Terra is a reflection of everything I believe about skincare. It doesn't need to be complicated to be effective. Ancestral ingredients like tallow, herbs and oils still hold immense value and caring for your skin can be both practical and deeply grounding. As a Taurus sun and Cancer moon, being in nature and near water has always been where I feel most alive and most inspired.

I was born in sunny Florida near the water, probably why I thrive in 80 degree weather and sunshine. Today, I reside in Middle Tennessee surrounded by rivers and the mountains with my husband, Lee, our three kids, two dogs and cat.

Every product I create is handmade in small batches using thoughtfully sourced ingredients and infused with whole herbs and botanicals. I formulate with the belief that skin thrives when we work with it, not against it. There's so much beauty in simplicity.
